The premiere retail center in Barrington, Rhode Island is the Barrington Shopping Center. The Center was Anthony C. Paolino's vision. He resided in Barrington and felt that the Town needed a center. Since its acquisition the suburban shopping center has seen many changes. It has grown to meet the changing demands of the residents of the Town. It started with only a few stores and to date, it has just completed it largest expansion ever. Shaw's, CVS, AAA and Citizen's Bank are its anchor stores. The Center is located on Route 114 and County Road.
