Joseph Paolino
Joesph Paolino, grandfather to Joe, Sr. came to Providence from Italy when he was eight years old. He started out as a life insurance salesman, but became interested in real estate when he received his first commission from selling a house. He then began to buy and rent three-decker apartment buildings, personally collecting the rent from his tenants every Saturday.
Anthony Paolino (1900 - 1996)
Anthony Paolino, father to Joe, Sr. joined the family business around 1925. He loved the City of Providence and when some of Rhode Island’s wealthiest families began to unload their downtown properties in the 1930s and 40s, Anthony and his father began to buy them, expanding beyond tenement rentals to office buildings and factories.
Judge Thomas. J. Paolino
Thomas J. Paolino was a prominent Rhode Island attorney and an expert on zoning issues. He was appointed to the Rhode Island State Supreme Court in 1956 and served until his retirement from the bench in 1977. Always active he served as special counsel to one of the top law firms in Providence until his death. 
Jeffrey Paolino (1969 - 1997)
Like his father and grand-father before him Jeffrey attended New York Military Academy and later graduated from Southern Methodist University. At 29 he lost his life in a parachuting accident, after successfully saving a friend whose shoot had become entangled.
